Ryan was born and raised in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. After graduating from the University of Kansas with Bachelor’s degrees in political science and communications, he joined the family business in 1999 as a sales executive in the commercial insurance division.

In 2004, he succeeded his father, Bill Wilkerson, as president and CEO, becoming the third generation Wilkerson to direct the agency founded by his grandfather, Ralph Wilkerson. Under Ryan’s leadership, Haas & Wilkerson Insurance continues to grow and focus on delivering excellent customer service.

Ryan is an active participant of the Young Presidents’ Organization International and the Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers. He serves on the boards of the American Royal and Bank of Blue Valley. He’s been recognized as a NextGen Leader in the KC Business Journal, as well as 40 Under Forty and KC Rainmakers in Ingram’s magazine. Today, he resides in Shawnee Mission, Kansas, with his wife, Christina, and two children, Mallory and Garrett.

Mark Soukup joined Haas & Wilkerson Insurance in 2005 and, in his dual role of COO and CFO, he is responsible for directing strategic initiatives, providing daily leadership and oversight of internal operations, and leading the agency’s financial team. He is dedicated to streamlining the organization’s structure, enhancing customer service, creating opportunities, and reducing costs.

Mark came to the agency after a 20-year career, beginning as a management consultant and ending with CFO, with national accounting firm RSM McGladrey. His areas of expertise include finance, operations, process improvement, accounting and management information systems, planning, and compensation. His experience covers a wide range of industries including professional services and insurance.

Mark was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He is a graduate of Iowa State University where he majored in accounting with an emphasis in computer science and management information systems. He’s a certified management consultant, and has been a member of the Institute of Management Consultants and the Institute of Management Accountants. Today, he resides in Overland Park, Kansas, with his wife, Beth, and three children, Kelsey, Taylor and Courtney.

Kimberly Wilkerson is Agency Principal and Vice President of Haas & Wilkerson Insurance, an independently owned insurance agency, specializing in providing risk management and insurance solutions for businesses all over the country. Together with her brother, Ryan, she became a third-generation business owners of Haas & Wilkerson Insurance in 2004.

She joined the staff in 2008 and, today, is responsible for community outreach, culture and branding, quality and control, process and procedure, and customer service. Kimberly came to the agency after a career working with community colleges and public schools as both a decision maker and educator. Her career in education afforded her a success record in planning, developing, and implementing programs and services to advance teaching and student success.

Kimberly was born and raised in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. A graduate of Colorado State University and Metropolitan State College of Denver, she holds Bachelor’s degrees in Liberal Arts and English. Continuing her education while working as a middle school teacher, she graduated from the University of Colorado with a Master’s in Instruction and Curriculum, specializing in English as a Second Language. Today, she resides in Mission Hills, Kansas, with her daughter, Emmaline, and son, Boden.
